All Chobe Day Trips include a Chobe River Cruise and Chobe Park Game drive or drives. Spend up to two nights and three days in the beautiful Chobe National Park, camping and enjoying game drives through the Chobe Park where the chances of seeing the "Big Five" are very good. The birdlife in the Chobe National Park is fantastic and guests can see many water-loving and endemic bird species.

Wake up for tea/coffee and rusks before setting off for an early morning game drive with
a hearty brunch on return to camp. Guests relax at their own leisure until late afternoon
when this untamed part of Africa is experienced once more on an afternoon game drive,
returning to camp just after sunset. Dinner and overnight around the campfire.
DAY 3
Rise and shine for an early morning game drive, another chance to encounter the wild in
one of Africa’s most spectacular national parks. Brunch is served on return to camp after
which guests can siesta until approx 13:30hrs. Guests then enjoy a short game drive
before their transfer.
This safari option begins in Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, and ends in Kasane or the other way round, starting in Kasane and ending in Maun. It takes in Nxai Pan National Park and Makgadikgadi Pans, Deception Valley in the Kalahari Game Reserve, Maun, Moremi Game Reserve, North Gate, Savuti and Chobe National Park. DAY 1 & 2 - NXAI PAN NATIONAL PARK
10 Day Safari guests arrive in Maun
Your professional guide will meet you at the airport in Maun where you go forth into the wilderness, heading for our first destination, Nxai Pan National Park. On route to our campsite we will stop for a picnic lunch at the famous Baines Baobabs, painted by the explorer Thomas Baines in 1862. (Option to visit on exit).
In this small but interesting National Park we will spend the next two nights exploring the area to its fullest. Nxai Pan is unique, one of the few areas in Botswana where you will see Springbok and Impala co-exist. On day three after a final game drive we head for Deception Valley in the Kalahari Game Reserve.

DAY 3 - MAUN
Breaking camp, the morning is used for final exploration of the Nxai Pan area before heading back towards the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Maun. Our stop over here prepares us for the next phase of our safari heading North into the Okavango Delta.
The following day we drive to our next destination, the Moremi Game Reserve.

DAY 4 & 5 -
MOREMI GAME RESERVE
We are joined by our 7 day clients! Moremi Game Reserve forms an intricate part of the Okavango Delta with permanently swamped areas and dry-land. Where land and Delta meet at Xakanaxa, a mosaic of pans, grasslands, forests and lagoons provide an extremely rich and diverse habitat where a multitude of animals and birds flourish.
The following two nights are spent camping in the Moremi region exploring the area on game drives and a boat cruise in the Okavango Delta.

DAY 6 -
NORTH GATE
Following normal camp routine we break camp and game drive east through one of Botswana’s most scenic routes to North Gate. Our stop-over here breaks the long journey to Savuti. We will stay either at a HATAB or community site and prepare for the transition from Moremi to Savuti.

DAY 7 & 8 -
SAVUTI
As the sun rises we break camp and game drive North for approximately 4 hours to Savuti.
Savuti is a seemingly endless desolate landscape, famous for the dry marsh, sand ridge and volcanic hills which are unique to this area. The vast Savuti Marsh is home to a variety of dry-land animals, including: zebra, wildebeest, kudu, giraffe, leopard and lion. Large elephant bulls can be seen drinking from the waterholes at sunset. Savuti boasts a spectacular Zebra migration in the summer months (November – April).
Over the next two days, we explore the area on game drives. Accompanied by your guide you may leave the vehicle on foot to view the ancient bushman paintings on the rock face of a volcanic hill. The more energetic individuals can climb to the top of the hill and enjoy a panoramic view of the area
Departing Savuti we proceed North to the Chobe National Park, (5 hours drive) a river fronted area teeming with wildlife.

DAY 9 - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
The Chobe riverfront area is famous for its breeding herds of elephant and large numbers of buffalo. Furthermore, an abundance of bird and aquatic wildlife co- exist. During your stay in this area you will rendezvous with your river boat for a relaxing cruise down the Chobe River. This gives an excellent photographic opportunity

DAY 10 -
DEPART
After an early morning game drive and a hearty brunch, we break camp and transfer out of the parks and onto Kasane Airport or Victoria Falls Airport. This is where the safari ends.

DAY 1 - CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Pick up from Victoria Falls and transfer to Kasane on the banks of Botswana’s
famous Chobe River. Breakfast and a briefing are followed by purchasing your
drinks at the local shop before boarding our boat for a relaxing cruise, enjoying the
sights of elephants, hippos, crocodiles and a wide variety of water and land birds. On
return to Thebe River Safaris, lunch is served before departing for a game drive en
route to your campsite in the Chobe National Park. Prepare and enjoy dinner around
the campfire before overnighting in two man dome tents.

DAY 2 - SAVUTI
Guests have a light breakfast before breaking camp and leaving for Savuti, which is
located in the Western corner of the Chobe National Park. After setting up camp,
clients prepare lunch. Enjoy the experience of untamed Africa once again on a late
afternoon game drive, returning to the camp just after sunset. Dinner and overnight
in Savuti.

DAY 3 -
MOREMI GAME RESERVE
Rise and shine early to discover the awakening African sun. Guests have a light
breakfast before enjoying an early morning game drive, including a stop at the
bushman paintings. We then set off for Moremi Game Reserve. Game viewing
continues en route. Set up camp and have a light lunch. Relax until the afternoon
game drive. Dinner and overnight in the Moremi Game Reserve.

DAY 4 -
MOREMI GAME RESERVE
We start the day with an early game drive exploring the Moremi area further. Return
to camp for a hearty brunch. Spend the midday hours at your own leisure, followed
by an afternoon game drive. Return to camp, dinner and overnight Moremi.

DAY 5 - MAUN
This morning after an early breakfast, we break camp and set off for our game drive
in the Moremi area. We then leave the parks for Maun with a light lunch en route.
Overnight in a campsite in Maun. Dinner at a local restaurant – Own Expense.

DAY 6 - OKAVANGO DELTA
After breakfast we transfer guests to the Mokoro jetty where we board our Mokoros
(Traditional dugout canoes). These take us to our camp in the Okavango Delta with a
picnic lunch en route. We set off on a short sunset Morkoro drift. Dinner and
overnight Okavango Delta.

DAY 7 -
DEPART
An early morning game walk is the order of the day, returning to camp for a hearty
brunch. We then break camp and mokoro back to the mokoro jetty. Your guide will
pick you up at the jetty and transfer you back to Maun where our safari ends.
